What is an IEP?
IEP stands for
Individualized Education Program.
The IEP is a written document
that is developed for
any child eligible
for special education.
It is created for each eligible student to meet
their special
educational needs
What kinds of classes are taught?
I teach Math, Reading, and
English
to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade
students
on IEP's who come to the
Resource Room.
How many students use the Resource
Room?
Currently I have 16 students.
Do Resource Room students take
state tests?
Students in the
Resource Room take all the
Ohio Achievement
Tests like everyone in their grade level.
Students have
allowable accommodations for testing that
are included
on the testing page of their IEP. Examples
of some of the allowable
accommodations would be:
Extended time
Tests read
Scribe
Use of calculator
